Westbrook Christian School’s Scholar’s Bowl team is a member of The Alabama Scholastic Competition Association (ASCA) and promotes academic achievement. Students in grades 7th through 12th are eligible to participate.

The middle school season typically includes seven local competitions in the fall with the district tournament held on the last Saturday in January and the state competition in February. Practice matches are held on Wednesdays until approximately 5:30pm in October and December. 

In 2016 and 2018, the middle school team became a state qualifier and Jacob Kelley was named to the All State Middle School Scholar’s Bowl Tournament in 2018. 

The Junior Varsity and High School divisions hold tournaments on Saturdays throughout the year at various locations throughout the state. Regional, district, and state competitions take place in the spring.
